We have thoroughly researched what we should not do when filming and through careful consideration and planning we believe we have not made any fundamental errors in our horror trailer. We watched other A2 trailers to see what errors they made and to make sure that we would not make the same mistakes in our A2 trailer. This gave us a good idea of what not to put onto our trailer and this will give us the best possible chance of getting the A2 grade that we want to achieve.
With the cameras we available at the school we should avoid shooting in really dark light or really bright light as this will affect our final project. We found out that on the software "Final Cut Pro" you can dim the lighting on the shots so the best time to film is dusk, where it is not too dark or too bright. With the software we have we can make it look very professional when filming in a lighter environment.
When filming an overly long shot you should consider that the camera quality will decrease and should take this into account when putting the shit into your trailer. Not only will the quality look bad but the overly long shot can also disengage the audience and make them lose interest in your trailer. LB
Preliminary Task
This our preliminary task and this helped us expand our filming skills and also showed us not to do when filming our real horror trailer.

We learnt a lot about filming from our Preliminary task and it gave us an idea of what mistakes were common and we made sure that we did not do this in our actual A2 Horror. The thing we found most difficult in this task was getting the lighting correct in the shots. with this in mind we took lighting into consideration very carefully when filming our A2 Trailer we made sure that this was not a mistake we would make.
